Working mode：
Our control panel has two standard operation modes for media preparation, & two extra program modes can be selected where you can input your parameters as per requirement:
- STANDARD MODE: In this mode of preparation of standard and highly sensitive culture media, Temperature, Sterilization time & dispensing temperature can be set.
- CHOCOLATE AGAR MODE: This is a special program of simple two steps that permits the preparation of complex & high end media. In first step sterilization process takes place and in second step supplements like blood agar can be added via adding port. After the addition of supplement second heating phase can be conducted.
- WATER BATH MODE: The culture media generally dissolves between 30-80 °C before sterilization process. Glassware’s need to be kept in the sterilizer and the liquid in the glassware gets heated in the bath.
- AUTOCLAVE MODE: When an autoclave mode is selected, This media preparator act as an ordinary steam sterilizer that sterilizes small number of glassware’s.

Before Sterilization process, there is a program that automatically checks the sealed door, Gasket of the chamber cover is intact, it avoids the pressure leakage caused by the air leak of the media during the sterilization process. Fast Heating
Media Preparation System has high quality ISI mark SS 304 heater that helps in fast media processing. The fast heating system minimizes thermal stress and ensures high fertility of the culture media. Steam Pressure and High temperature-controlled de-aerating ensures the saturated steam in the chamber – that is the basic requirement for complete sterilization.
Reliable Sterilization
The large and strong magnetic stirrer with adjustable speed and reversing rotation direction ensures homogenous media preparation over a wide viscosity range. APt-100 temperature probe and microprocessor control of all relevant process parameters allow reliable and complete sterilization of culture media.
Sterilization Data Record
Data-logger is provided with the machine that includes sterilization time, sterilization temperature , working status, sterilization F0 Value, date and Time etc., to support long-term data storage.
Cleaning and maintenance
Yatherm All models has built-in cleaning program that automatically sterilizes and clean the connecting pipes, and valves. High-temperature water always discharged in the end of the cycle that dissolves and removes the residual medium. This process clean all the SS 304 connecting pipes and parts in the machine and creates a better environment for reuse.
