VORTEX SHAKER:

Also widely used, generally for shaking small flasks and microtubes. The flask is shaken together with the platform and can be a continuous movement or only when pressed on the rubber, producing vortices in the liquid.

MAGNETIC SHAKER:

It consists of a metal plate, the container containing the liquid is placed on the plate with a small magnetic bar inside, covered with an inert plastic so as not to interact with the solution. A motor under the plate produces magnetic forces by rotating the magnet and causing circular motion in the liquid. The magnetic stirrer also has heated versions, performing both tasks simultaneously.
